Silk N Dye Festival from December 2

 GUWAHATI, Oct 23: The Silk n Dye Festival, Kaziranga tiol Park, is slated to be held from December 2, 2017. The festival was started in 2006 with many objectives and goals to achieve. According to a press release, the spirit of the festival centres around the essence and process of tural dye in indigenous activities. This year the festival is to include tural dye workshops, exhibitions on extraction of tural silk from larvae to loom, ture craft bazaar, cultural nites, etc. A shopping zone, Aidew Bazar, will be added to the festival, the release added.
