Single-window entrance examition

Guwahati, March 6: A new way of all India entrance examition for multiple universities has been introduced for the students seeking admission to Engineering, Medical and Dental Courses. This facility is provided for the students seeking admission in private universities. It will fulfil a vital need in higher education system by helping the students to apply to multiple universities through a single window. “At present, students have to apply to many universities with various entrance examitions, leading to wastage of time, money and efforts. Now, the students have to sit for a single entrance examition and seek admission in multiple universities which are participating universities of ERA (Education Rating and Assessment Foundation),” said ERA Foundation CEO B.N. Subramanya while addressing the press in a city hotel recently.
