Six families evicted

GUWAHATI, May 4: Kamrup (M) district administration evicted six families from Sorusola Beel in the Tokobari area in the city today. The six families were served notices many a time, but they refused to comply with. A team of officials led by Circle Officer Lakshmindan Saharia evicted them today. Dredging and fencing works of the beel have been going on since last year.
