Six trucks seized, nine arrested

GUWAHATI, May 29: Bashistha Police sieved six coal-laden trucks and arrested nine people from the Beltola area last night. They were carrying coal illegally from Meghalaya. The nine have been identified as Ramdomick Lapasam, Rimi Bhoi, Pharse Mar, Selim Uddin Sheikh, Baharul Islam, Ramon Langdang, Jesperly Biam, Chiruplang Lapasang and Hilarkin Dkhar.
