Snehalaya seeks information on 'missing' parents

GUWAHATI, Sept 30: Snehalaya authorities are now having a hard time in locating the parents of one Sagar Sutradhar, a boy who was recently found by the shelter home. It has been learnt that his parents Biplob Sutradhar and Pinky Sutradhar work as dancers in a mobile theatre troupe. However, as they had to move frequently from place to place, the parents kept him in custody of his paterl aunt in Goalpara. But, the child who does not want to stay with her, fled away and landed in Guwahati. Though, the Snehalaya authorities tried to locate the child's parents at various places, they failed. Recently, the child was also produced to the Child Welfare Committee and all efforts to reunite him with his parents are on. Sagar has mentioned that they used to live in Anupam Basti area, but the Snehalaya failed to trace the address. Turning towards the people to come forward, the Snehalaya has appealed to the public to help them in reuniting the child with his mother, Pinky Sutradhar who is now reportedly in Shillong, whereas the father of the child Biplab Sutradhar is in galand.
