Sonowal calls on Governor

GUWAHATI, Dec 10: Assam Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal met Governor Banwailal Purohit at Raj Bhavan on Friday evening and apprised him of various development works that the State Government has been pursuing for the welfare of all sections of the people in the State.  The meeting, which lasted for nearly 20 minutes, also featured the condition of roads in Assam and the different road projects that have been rolled out in the State. The Governor also hailed the State Government’s steps of holding ‘Shraddhanjali’ programme synchronizing with the Swahid Divas on December 10 and honouring the family members of the martyrs of Assam Agitation.
