Sonowal’s call to youths for tion-building

GUWAHATI, Dec 21: Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal has called upon the youths to work together to unite the society and unite the tion and work towards for a strong tion.

Interacting with the youths at the State headquarters-level tiol integration camp at Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan Stadium in the city today, Sonowal said: “To make the tion prosper on all fronts we need to work hard and utilize the immense inherent potentiality and possibility of the tion and position the country as a capital of human resources in the world map”.

Sonowal also urged the youths to take the responsibility in popularising ‘Digital India’, ‘Make in India’, ‘Skill India’, ‘Start up India’ so that people at large can reap rich dividends from these programmes. In view of demonetization of high currency notes, Sonowal asked the participating youths to adopt e-banking, paytm etc., as the transaction modes and popularize them for the promotion of ‘plastic currency’.

Emphasizing that a ‘swachh mind’ manifests into a ‘swacch environment’, Sonowal asked the participating youths to contribute to make Swachh Bharat Campaign a success.

The five-day tiol Integration Camp, chrishtened as ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’, witnessed the participation of 15 States. It has been organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangthan and sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
