Sri Balaji Mandir Brahmotsav from March 1

Guwahati, Feb 28: The Annual Brahmotsavam and Sata Chandi Homam organised by Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Mandir, Betkuchi, Guwahati at the Mandir complex will be held from March 1 to March 11. During the first 5 days Sudarsa Yagm will be performed in glory of Lord Balaji and Goddess Padmavati. In the remaiming 5 days Sata Chandi Yagm will be performed in honour of Goddess Durga and Lord Ganesha. The important programmes during the festival are 108 Kalasha Abhishekam at 9.30 am on March 3 and Kalya Utsavam at 5 pm on March 4 and Mama Abhishekam to Lord Balaji and Maha Purhuti on March 5 at 9 am. While Lalitha Sahasram Archa will be performed everyday in the evenings from March 7 to March 11, Chandi Yagm, Maha Purhuti will be performed on March 11 at 9 am besides Maha Chandi Paath at Maa Kamakhya Mandir from March 7 to 9, a press release said.
