Sri Krish-Rukmini Kalakshetra to hold Nomami Bharatam

 GUWAHATI, Oct 20: Sri Krish-Rukmini Kalakshetra (SKRK), Hemanta Vita, Jubati-Basati, Khompal (South Bekirpar) in Cachar is going to hold Nomomi Bharatam every year from Hariutthan-Rasapurnima coinciding with the Firal and Maharasaleela festivals of the Bishnupriya Manipuris with a view to promoting tiol integration. To begin with, SKRK is going to hold Nomami Bharatam, 2017 from October 31 to November 3 at South Bekirpar, a press release said.

In the run-up to the occasion, the holy earth and water of the Raj Bhavan, Madhya Pradesh have been collected in the presence of protocol officers of MP Governor on the auspicious Maha Ashtami Tithi on September 28, 2017 with a Bhumi Puja performed by Tarun Kumar Sinha,  Krish Sinha, Bidhan Sinha and Vikram Kumar Sinha from SKRK, the release said. It was followed by the collection of holy earth and water from the official residence of the Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in the presence of his protocol officers with Bhumi Puja by the visiting SKRK representatives in Bhopal, the release added.
