SSB Sandiksha organizes winter food festival

GUWAHATI, January 25: The Winter Food Festival was organized by SSB Sandiksha Wives’ Welfare Association on January 25 with enthusiasm in Guwahati.  Ameeta Negi, president of Sandiksha Guwahati, and its members welcomed chief guest Anil Negi, Inspector General, SSB. The highlights of the food festival were the cuisines of Manipur, Assam, Bengal, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, South India and others which were deliciously prepared by Sandiksha members, both from SSB Frontier Guwahati and 22nd Battalion, Sopur. The traditiol food of North, South, East and West culmiting at the venue of Games Village at the Food Festival sent a message of rich heritage and ethos depicting the values that Indians inherit.  The chief guest, Anil Negi also appreciated the efforts of the Sandiksha Guwahati to organize the Food Festival and sent a message of goodwill, friendship, harmony and promotion of ethnic food of the region.
