SSKSS demands separate commission on Saradha scam

GUWAHATI, Dec 31: The central committee of Saradha Sanmilita Khetrokormi Surokhya Samittee (SSKSS) demanded to form a separate commission for the solution of the problems related to the Saradha Chit Fund scam, for which many investors and employees are facing problems.
Speaking to the press SSKSS president Janmejay Das said, “The Saradha chit fund scam, which had changed the life of many people including investors, employees and others, had also created many problems for us. Though, the government has taken steps against the scam and the persons involved in the scam, the problem of the money liabilities and employment of the 41,000 employees of it were not solved till date. we, therefore, demand the government to form a separate commission for the solution of the problems created because of the scam like West Bengal and to release some amount of money from the government fund to clear the liabilities of 200 crore.”
He further added, “We also request the people, who has taken money from Saradha group before to come up and return the money, so that the investors get some relief. The assets of 200 crore of Saradha group like land, factory, flats, vehicles and others, which were lying unused in various places of the state, should be preserved and sold out, so that the money collected from those can be used for clearing the liabilities of the money. The 41,000 employees, which became unemployed after the scam, should be recruited in some other sectors by the government to save the families of the employees and complete the processes before the election.”
