State Jamiat raps torture on Rohingiyas

GUWAHATI, Sept 9: The Assam State Jamiat Ulama has condemned the inhumane torture on the Rohingiyas in Myanmar.

In a statement issued to the press on Saturday, Jamiat president Badruddin Ajmal said: “This is violation of human rights. The Government of India should put pressure on Myanmar to stop such violation of human rights. I appeal to the UNO to ensure all facilities for the Rohingiyas taking shelter in the neighbouring countries of Myanmar.”
