Statement is not justified: AIUDF

GUWAHATI, Nov 15: AIUDF has said that Jamiat-Ulama-e-Hind president Arshad Madani’s Urdu speech put up a language barrier that was difficult to cross to get the speech.The party, however, said that, be that it may, the statement at a time when NRC update work going on is not justified. Addressing the media, AIUDF general secretary Aminul Islam said that at a time when NRC update work is going on any such statement is bound to affect the process. “These are administrative matters. If anybody’s me doesn’t figure in the draft NRC to be published, it will follow an administrative process. In such a situation no one should make people panic by making such statements,” he said.
