Stir threat

GUWAHATI, July 8: The All Assam Madrassa TET Qualified Candidates' Association has set the deadline of July 17 this year for the State Education Department to appoint them, failing which, they will resort to agitation from July 22. According to the association, 20,000 candidates qualified Madrassa TET for which the results were announced on March 10 this year, but none of them has been appointed as yet. On June 9 they submitted a memorandum. Then Madressa Director Dr. Fazlur Rahman and Secondary Education Commissioner and Secretary assured the candidates that their demands would be met, but they are yet to be appointed. The Association asked the department to appoint them by July 17 failing which they will go for agitation from July 22.
