Stop threatening jourlists, JAFA to NDFB (S)

GUWAHATI, Feb 25: Condemning the tiol Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit) for demanding extortion of Rs 20, 000 from a jourlist of a vercular daily and member of the central committee of Jourlist Federation of Assam (JAFA) Babu Rava, the federation on Thursday urged the militant outfit to stop harassing jourlists. In a statement condemning the incident, JAFA said that the NDFB (S) even took away the bike of the jourlist after threatening him with arms in their hands. It also condemned the police iction as four days have passed since the incident, but not a single arrest has been made so far.
