Storm advisory issued

GUWAHATI, March 4: Following a forecast of storm in Kamrup (M) district from Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the administration has taken the necessary preparedness measures and also appealed to the public to follow the advisory on storm issued by it.  The advisories issued are repairing of house if tin roofs have loose ils, holes, leaks and rusty areas; removal of dead branches or dying trees from yards; not to venture out during storm; not to take shelter in small sheds and under isolated trees; taking shelter in safe structures when in outing; parking cars away from power lines and trees while driving, etc.
