By our Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, Oct 25: Petrol depots and gas agencies in Assam are likely to go dry on November 11 following a strike announced by the Assam Petroleum Mazdur Union in support of their demands for payment minimum wage, PF, ESI and weather allowances. The Union said that despite the Assam government giving all these benefits, the oil companies are not giving them.  On October 24, the Union sent a memorandum each to the State Chief Minister and the Prime Minister through the Kamrup(M) Deputy Commissioner. The members of the union will take out a procession from Dighalipukhuri to the DC Court on November 11.
