Sunfest Ex-servicemen Sanghathan extends help

GUWAHATI, April 18: During the past one year Sunfest Ex-servicemen Sanghathan, Panjabari Bus Stop, Opposite to Gurga Mandir, Guwahati took a number of programmes for the welfare of poor and ex-servicemen and their family members.

According to Sangathan president Satish Chandra Goswami and secretary HN Sinha, the Sangathan reviewed various social services it had rendered rendered in the past one year at a meeting at its office on April 17. According a statement issued by the president and the secretary of the Sangathan, it conducted a computer training programme free of cost for differently-abled and backward people. The Sangathan was considerate for defence personnel and their children while offering facilities for the training. The Sangathan adjudged Deepshikha Roy Bora, Rubi Choudhury and kib Ahmed as the best students of 2015. This year the Sangathan is going to extend its help to Kalpa Rajbanshi, Pronita Das, Momi Sarkar, Sabitri Magar and Malaya Sinha.
