Swach Bharat Abhiyan at city school

GUWAHATI, January 13: The students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Rajgarh, Guwahati voluntarily cleaned a part of Rajgarh Road of the city on January 10, intending to make Guwahati an evergreen place. According to a press release, the cleanliness drive started around 11 O’ clock in the morning and within a span of two hours a part of Rajgarh road, in front of the school campus, wore a new look with swept street and a number of dustbins placed for throwing garbage. The students, wearing school uniform, wholeheartedly joined in this programme and it was found that with great vigour and energy they showed the necessity and utility of the cleanliness .
