GUWAHATI, Aug 14: tiol Service Scheme (NSS) organized a rally on ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ and the theme of the rally was ‘awareness on cleanliness’. Over 30 girls of Handique Girls College participated in the rally. The silent rally was taken out from Handique Girls’ College to Dighalipukhuripar. The NSS organizes the rally in various places before the Independence Day in all over the India. NSS got the message from the Prime Minister to organize this cleanliness rally all over the India. Leeza Hazarika, a student of Handique Girls College, said: “This is a good step to make people aware of keeping their city clean so that tourists get to know about our cleanliness. We all are happy to join this rally and the important message we have to get across is to keep our place clean and not to throw plastics packets in the road and to use the dustbins.”
