Symposium at IIT Guwahati on Oct 17

GUWAHATI, Oct 14: IIT Guwahati, in collaboration with Indian tiol Science Academy (INSA), is organizing a symposium and lectures on October 17 and 18, 2016 on its premises as part of INSA’s annual general meeting. The symposium – ‘Ecology and Biodiversity of North-Eastern India’ –will be held on October 17 from 2-6 pm at the conference centre of IIT Guwahati. Various important topics related to ture, ecology, biodiversity, environment and conservation in the North-Eastern India will be discussed at the symposium.  On October 18, two back-to-back public lectures – ‘Breaking Bonds to Order!: A Dream Come True’ by Prof. JP Mittal, F from 9:30 am-10:15 am and ‘Multidrug Resistance: From Microbes to Man’ by Prof. Rajendra Prasad, F – have also been organized.
