Talk lays stress on ethical hard work for maximum potential

GUWAHATI, June 25: A discourse on ‘Work-Life Balance’ was held at Durbar Hall in Raj Bhavan on Saturday evening where the speakers mainly advocated for ‘ethics, honesty and disciplined life sans ego’ to thrash out a proper magement between professiol and persol life. 
Speaking on the occasion Sadhu Gnvatsaldas of BAPS Swami rayan Sanstha Akshardham laid stress on the importance of a family and therefore hammered on to give attention to each member of the family. He also said that family, friends and faith in God and oneself are true happiness. The Swami also asked the gathering to be honest at every level for honesty and hard work always bears the best fruits. He also emphasized honest ethical hard work at professiol and persol life to attain optimum potential. 
The talk also dwelled on the importance of cultivating the habit of strict discipline. He also said, “We have no right to indulge in any unethical practices. Ego is playing the role of disrupting behaviour and only wisdom has the potential to set the disruptive behaviour right”.  Swami Kothariji Maharaj, while sharing his wisdom with the gathering present on the occasion, hailed the importance of satsang and said that satsang dispels ignorance and leads a person to wisdom. 
State Governor Banwarilal Purohti, while speaking on the occasion, welcomed the Swamis and expressed his gratitude to them for coming all the way to Assam. He also acknowledged the contributions of the Swamis to the all-round development of society which the Sanstha renders during emergencies and calamities. Highlighting the role of spiritualism in one’s life, the Governor said that there exists a crucial connection between culture and religion. Relying extensively on culture and religions propel a person to sound trajectory of humanism, peace and tranquility, the Governor added. 
Bhaktipriya Swami, Premprakash Swami, Thirthaswaroop Swami, Adbhusan Swami, Kamalyan Swami, Aksharkirtan Swami, Bhaktinistha Swami, Amrutsetu Swami, Purvatsal Swami of BAPS Swamirayan Sanstha were also present on the occasion.  Besides, former Governor of Meghalaya Ranjit Sekhar Mooshahary, former Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta, Chief Secretary Vinod Kumar Pipersenia, DGP Mukesh Sahay, Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University Prof Mridul Hazarika, VC of Cotton University Prof Dhruba J. Saikia and a host of other dignitaries were present at the event.
