Talk on role of mathematics

GUWAHATI, July 14: A talk on the topic ‘Role of Mathematics Education in Different Streams of Knowledge’ will be organised at B. Barooah College, Guwahati on July18 at 10.00 am to mark the the 31st Foundation Day of Assam Academy of Mathematics (AAM). The talk will be delivered by Dr. Bhaben Chandra Kalita, Professor Emeritus, Department of Mathematics, GU. The 59th volume of “Ganit Bikash”, the biannual magazine of AAM will also be at the programme, stated a press release.
