TE body rues negligence

GUWAHATI, Feb 27: The Assam Assembly witnessed a ruckus on the issue of the death of a buffalo when the issue was raised by an MLA. The debate came to such a pass that the MLA had to be marshalled out from the House. However, no member of the House felt like raising the issue of the December 2017 shootout in Bogidola Tea Estate in Golaghat on the floor of the House. The Joint Action Committee of Tea Tribe-Adivasi rued the fact and questioned the value system of the legislators of the State.
