TET qualified candidates stage protest

GUWAHATI, July 9: The candidates who qualified the upper primary general TET in the year 2012, but were not appointed, staged a protest in front of the office of the Directorate of Elementary Education in Kahilipara on Thursday. The organisation of the uppointed TET candidates alleged that the education minister Sarat Borkotoky has decieved them and that their futures are now uncertain. It may be mentioned here that education minister Sarat Borkotoky had earlier assured the organisation to appoint all the TET qualified candidates by March 31.The organisation on Thursday also had a meeting with the Director of Elementary Education, but unfortutely both the parties failed to reach an agreement. It has been learnt that, another meeting has been called on Friday to find out an amicable solution.
