The India Show 2017 in city

GUWAHATI, Nov 10: As to make the India initiative continues to flicker a renewed sense of pride in Indian industry, it is only apropos for it to be the theme for the prestigious ‘The India Show 2017’ at Guwahati. The India Show- Make in India and Strike like a Lion will be held in Veteriry Science Khapara playground from December 5 to 14. The event will be organized by Industries and Trade Fair Association of Assam.

The main focus of the event will be on the vision of Prime Minister rendra Modi, who wants to make India a world power with initiative of ‘Make in India’. The show will act as a window to the world with events and programmes aiming at bridging the gap between India and rest of the world.

Under the leadership of State Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal Assam will lay emphasis on Act East Policy and the region’s relationship with ASEAN countries. Various State Government departments like Tourism, Health, Agriculture, Skill Development, Power and Disaster Magement have been approached for the show. There will also be participants from abroad as foreign investment is an integral part of ‘Make in India’ policy.
