Those vocal on 2-scion norm are 4th, 5th or 6th sons: Rakibul

GUWAHATI, Dec 24: Former Assam minister Rakibul Hussain has said that he will not be affected in anyway by the State Government's move to adopt birth control measures like barring third to nth children of parents from availing facilities like government jobs, promotions, fighting elections and the like.     

Talking to newsmen in the city today, Hussain said without ming anyone: "Had such measures been taken some 50 years back, many political leaders talking loud now in the State on the issue wouldn't have been born. Many of the political leaders pitching for birth control measures now are fourth, fifth or sixth scions of their parents. I've no problem. I'm the second son of my parents, and I'm the father of only one child."
