tiol Arogya Fair 2015 iugurated

GUWAHATI, January 31: In order to promote the relevance of traditiol altertive medicines, a four–day tiol Arogya Mela 2015 gets underway at Soram High School field, Bharalumukh, Guwahati from January 30.
The fair is being organized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Assam and Indian Chambers of Commerce.
Iugurating the fair, Nilanjal Sanyal, secretary, Union Ministry of AYUSH, said: “Traditiol system of medicine can complement the modern system of medicine in handling all forms of diseases, including lifestyle diseases”.
The welcome note was presented by Manish Thakur, Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Assam while vote of thanks was given by Rajiv Singh, Director General of Indian Chambers of Commerce.
There are ten free health check–up stalls dealing in various forms of altertive medicines like Ayurveda, Yoga and turopathy, Uni, Siddha, Sowa–rigpa and Homoeopathy. AYUSH drug manufacturers from different parts of the country have set up their stalls. The exhibition is open to all from 11 am to 8 pm. The fair will conclude on February 2, 2015.
