GUWAHATI, March 14: All traders’ organizations in the State are going to keep their shutters down for 12 hours from 5 am to 5 pm on March 15 in protest against the hike in trading fees by the previous government. The notification to this effect was issued by the Congress government in 2016. Traders’ fees were hiked by ten folds. In a statement, Sadou Asom Byobosayee Santha chief convener-cum-Sadou Guwahati Byobosayee Santha general secretary Prantosh Roy appealed to all traders of the state to stay away from trade tomorrow.
