Training for engineers

GUWAHATI, Dec 17: A training programme for graduate engineers of Irrigation Department was organized today by Assam Engineering Service Association in association with the department in the conference hall of the department conducted by its senior officers. Envisaged to enhance the performance and quality of service of freshly inducted engineers, the daylong training covered various aspects of work, steps involved in executing a scheme, points to ponder, way to a successful scheme etc. More than 50 participants availed of the training. At the concluding session, Irrigation Minister Ranjit Dutta gave away the certificates in presence of Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, a press release said.
