Tree plantation under MGNREGA

GUWAHATI, Aug 11: The State Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD) department has set a target of planting 10 lakh saplings under MGNREGA 100-day action plan. The department has so far planted 3 lakh, 75 thousand, 786 saplings at roadside, office campuses etc under this plan. Maximum 1, 59, 637 saplings have been planted in Tinsukia district, a P& RD department release said.
