GUWAHATI, Aug 12: Chalachitram paid tribute to renowned litterateur, dramatist and film director Dr. Bhabendra th Saikai at Jyoti Chitraban in Guwahati on Saturday. Many actors, publishers and writers who had been associated with Dr. Saikia were felicitated at the programme. Prantik Editor Pradip Baruah threw light on the life and works of Dr. Saikia. Abartan, a film directed by Dr. Saikia, was screened at the programme. The programme began with the paying of tribute at the portrait of Dr. Saikia.
