Tributes paid to Guha

GUWAHATI, May 13: Annewesha, a children book publishing house, today paid tribute to writer Amalendu Guha.  Speaking on the occasion, CCSU vice chancellor Dhrujyoti Saikia said: “Late Guha was one of the most efficient educationists. His contribution towards society is memorable for the youth. Instituting a chair in memory of late Guha in Gauhati University will be proper tribute to him.” GU vice chancellor Mridul Hazarika also said: “Today’s youth can adopt Late Guha as their role model in so far as knowledge in concerned.” Former vice chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Dr Kulendu Pathak, said: “A research centre on social science can be set up in memory of Guha.”
