Twist to Bony's death

GUWAHATI, Nov 5: Dispur police arrested Haisung Ramsiary in connection with the death of Bony Borgohain. Boni had come to Guwahati with his friend Janmejay Gogoi to Haisung’s house at Barri in Guwahati where he fell ill. He was declared brought dead at the GMCH on Wednesday night.  Smelling something fishy, Bony’s father Pradyumnya Borgohain lodged an FIR against Haisung and Janmejay. Based on the case, the police arrested Haisung on Sunday. According to police sources, on the fateful day Haisung and Bony went to Commerce Point at Chandamari in the city where Bony met his former fiancée. The two had a chat. Haisung then took Rs 500 from bony and went away. When Haisung was not returning, Bony and the girl went to Bhangagarh where Haisung joined them around 8.30 pm. Bony and Haisung dropped the girl at her hostel at Bora Service, hired a cab and went to Barbari. The duo had drugs with them. Haisung confessed before the police that over dose of drugs led to Bony’s illness. The report of the post-mortem is still awaited.
