Two arrested

GUWAHATI, April 1: Hatigaon police arrested two persons with two grams of heroin, a syringe and three containers from their possession from Bashisthapur Path in the Beltola area in the city on Saturday night. The two have been identified as Sanjib Singh of Survey and Rahul Baruah of Gandhi Mandap, Guwahati. According to the police, Sanjib, who stays in a rented house at Bashishapur Bye-lane No. 2, runs the business in connivance with Rahul Baruah. A case (213/18) has been registered in this connection in Hatigaon police state. The two are in jail now.
