Two bike lifters held

Guwahati, April 3: Paltan Bazaar police last night arrested two bike lifters near Nepali Mandir. They were identified as Wazid Ahmed and Sanjib Chanda. A Honda two-wheeler was recovered from them. They were produced at a court which remanded them to police custody. Police said they were involved in several cases of vehicle lifting in the city in the past. A case (295/15) has been registered by police under IPC section 379.
