UGC 128 status for CU

GUWAHATI, June 19: The University Grants Commission has approved UGC 128 status to Cotton University (CU) paving the way for huge flow of funds to the newly set up varsity. The UGC in its recent meeting held on June 7, 2017 approved the inclusion of Cotton University in the list of Universities under Section 12B of the UGC Act, 1956.
