Uncertainty continues to haunt AXX

GUWAHATI, Jan 4: Uncertainty continues to haunt the Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX). AXX secretary general Paramanda Rajbongshi let the media know today that the delegates’ meeting of the premier literary body would be held on January 8 when its executive committee will also meet.

With the resigtion of its president Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bora, it is still uncertain as to who will lead the Xabha as its acting president for the extended one-year term. According to sources, acting AXX vice president Parag Thakur was an expectant. However, his chances are bleak as Rajbongshi has written a letter to Prahlad Tasha for holding the post of acting president. Tasha is an AXX vice president now on leave.
