GUWAHATI, Jan 15: Bhupinder Singh, the owner of gamese Restaurant in the city, was killed allegedly when a person who had a hot altercation with him hit him at Jaya gar in Guwahati on the Uruka day with his car and fled. According to eye-witness accounts, Bhupinder Singh had an altercation with the occupant of an Innova car that had three occupants – a man and two girls. After the altercation, the occupant of the car hit Bhupinder with the car and fled the scene. The people present there failed to note the number of the car. He was soon taken to the GMCH were he was declared dead. A case (46/18) has been registered at Bashistha police station. Search is on for the car.
