Vibrant Assam on March 10

GUWAHATI, March 7: The Assam Vegetable Growers’ Cooperative Society Ltd (AVGCSL) is going to hold Vibrant Assam 2018 on March 10 at Khapara in Guwahati. According to AVGCSL CEO Rahul Amin, around two lakh farmers are set to take part at the programme where Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Purushuttam Rupala, State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora and other ministers are to deliver speeches.    The cooperative society was formed in 2014. Vibrant Assam is to cost Rs 15 crore.
