Vigilance Awareness Week ends

 GUWAHATI, Nov 4: The Vigilance Awareness Week concluded on Saturday at Guwahati Refinery with the participation of a large number of employees and students from various schools and colleges. 

Speaking as the chief guest at the valedictory function at Guwahati Refinery Training Centre, ADGP Mukesh Agarwal threw light on instilling the right values and ethics in each and every one to make India a corruption- free tion. He pointed out that in addition to illegal practices and corrupt people being brought to the forefront it is important that the actions taken later on by authorities, including police, against these entities be highlighted to give morale boost to people working in a system. Guwahati Refinery executive director Jogen Barpujari laid emphasis on the need of commitment and conduct of all the people involved in a system for the growth of a tion. In terms of systems prevalent in Indian Oil Corporation Limited he mentioned that there has been a continuous, updated and systemized effort in every bit to elimite loopholes and to make the system more robust. He wished that with the support and goodwill of all, the theme of this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week “My Vision: Corruption Free India” would be turned into a reality.
