Walkathon for Children Health Awareness

GUWAHATI, Nov 10: Tender Petals Preschool Venture of Inner I Foundation Pvt. Ltd (IIFPL), in association with DN Acharya Foundation, is going to organize a ‘Walkathon for Children Health Awareness’ on November 12, 2017 at Tender Petals Playground, Zoo rengi Road, Guwahati from 8 am to 10 am.

The prime objective of the walkathon is to foster children as ambassadors of good health through physical activities and sports. Tender Petals has invited organizations, enthusiastic individuals as well as their own school students and parents to participate in the walkathon to be graced by State Additiol Chief Secretary Rajiv Kumar Bora as the chief guest. Other distinguished guests for the event are writer Srutimala Duara, Prof. Asha Kothari Chaudari, DIG Diganta Borah and writer Tit Atifa Masood. Registration will begin at 7.30 am, to be followed by the speech of the chief guest and flagging of by him. The walkathon will start at 8 am and continue till 10 am to return to the starting point. There will be refreshments and prize distribution. It will be followed by an art completion from 10 am-11 am for children from two years to 11 years of age.
