Walkathon in city to mark World Heart Day

Guwahati, Sept 27: The raya Superspeciality Hospital is going to observe the World Heart Day on Wednesday. The theme of this year’s Heart Day is ‘Power Your Life’. The hospital has organized a ‘Walkathon’ in which thousands of people are expected to participate. The walkathon event will commence from Judges’ Field at 6 am on Thursday.  “This is a call to all the fitness enthusiasts, home makers, working professiols, students, sportspersons, Government officials, medical professiols and every person in the city of Guwahati – both young and old to come and be part of this one of its kind initiative when thousands of people come together to campaign and take a pledge for one cause – to keep fit and live a healthy life”, said Abid Tauqeer, Facility Director, raya Superspeciality Hospital, Guwahati said in a press conference here today.
