By our Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, July 3: The 241 candidates, who were selected by the APSC in the ACS and APS cadres, said that they are victims of the ongoing debate on the alleged anomalies in the selection process. In a press conference at Guwahati Press Club today, one APS candidates Jyoti Prasad Pegu said: "We haven't got any chance to express our views on the selection procedure. It's unfortute that we have to suffer for the ongoing clash over the alleged APSC anomalies. We don't know about the corruption. We passed the examition honestly in all three stages."  Another APS candidate Birinchi Baruah said: "I came from a very rural area and without sound fincial background. I have cleared all three stages of the selection process honestly. The ongoing clash over the alleged corruption has frustrated me." Interestingly, the candidates who were allegedly involved in the corruption were not present at the conference.
