Workshop on border interaction

GUWAHATI, February 3: A three–day workshop on ‘border interaction’ for SSB personnel will be organized by SSB Frontier Guwahati and at various locations of SSB all over India with effect from February 4. During the workshop training will be imparted to SSB personnel deployed on IBB at various check points, a press release said. The participants will be sensitized about various friendship treaties and trade treaties, details of contraband and prohibited goods being smuggled across intertiol borders, verification techniques, identification of rcotics item and their hiding places, FICN trends and latest modus operandi and criticalities of deployment of dog squads at  sensitive points for detection of rcotics/drugs and  explosives.
