Workshop on digital evidence & cyber crime

GUWAHATI, Aug 26: A workshop on ‘Digital Evidences and Cyber Crime’ was organized under the initiative of Additiol Director General of Police (Prosecution), Assam on Saturday at the conference hall of Assam Police Headquarters, Ulubari, Guwahati. The workshop was attended by 65 public prosecutors, additiol public prosecutors, investigating officers and other senior police officers. The workshop focused on collection and handling of electronic records and their presentation as evidence in court. DGP Mukesh Sahay also addressed the participants of the workshop. The workshop was the first of its kind in the State organized to bring about effective coordition between public prosecutors and investigating officers.
