GUWAHATI, NOV 4: A workshop on ‘Magement of High Risk Babies using Neurodevelopment Techniques’ was held at Shishu Sarothi. The workshop was attended by many students from various colleges and other NGOs working in the field.
The event was started with the iuguration ceremony followed by the felicitation of the guest for the day Dr. Gayatri Bezboruah (MD, Pediatrics) who spoke on classification and diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy. Dr. Prab Kalpa Hazarika (Neuro Developmental Therapist) also spoke on reflexes and their implications.
NDT enhances the functions of adults and children who face difficulty in movement as a result of neurological challenges, various speakers at the workshop said.
The interactive workshop demonstrated a practical orientation on neurodevelopment techniques, followed by a question-answer session.
Certificates were also distributed to the participants by the Executive Director of Shishu Sarothi, Arman Ali.
