Workshop on philosophical reflection at CCSU

GUWAHATI, April 4: The Cotton College State University (CCSU) is going to organize a two-day workshop on philosophical reflection and its central importance in understanding problems of contemporary human condition on April 20 and 21. The workshop is supported by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research. It will cover ideas of modernity, primacy of reason, morality, human rights and community, cultural identity, secularization and religion, science, philosophy and the human condition. Many leading experts from different parts of the country will take part in the event. Those interested to take part may fill in the forms available on the CCSU website, CCSU Vice Chancellor DJ Saikia said in a statement.
