Xatriya dance evening by Kashmiri

GUWAHATI, August 14: The State Cultural Affairs Department organized an evening of Xattriya dance recital of Kashmiri Hazarika Kakati as ‘Nritya Prabha’ on  August 13, 2016 at Ravindra Bhawan.

The solo Xatriya dance programme med as Nritya Prabha was performed by artiste Kashmiri Hazarika Kakati which enthralled the audience. The programme was choreographed by the noted dance Guru Ramakrish Talukdar.  Kashmiri has already performed Xatriya dance in many places within the country and abroad. She has performed in the auditorium of Indian Embassy in Kuwait on April 10, 2015 and in Los Angeles, California, USA on August 22, 2015 as a part of ‘Nritya Bharathi’.

The programme was formally iugurated by lighting the lamp by Sri Jardan Deva Goswami, Xatradhikar of Sri Sri Kamalabari Xatra and Sri Bhadra Krish Deva Goswami, former president of Assam Xatra Mahaxabha.
