Youth arrested for forgery in admission

GUWAHATI, August 6: Bharalu police arrested a youth, Vivek Talukdar, for taking Rs 70,000 from two students of Kokrajhar with the promise of making their admission possible in a college in Guwahati. However, Vivek maged a fake admission of the two youths in Pragjyotish College with major in Botany. The college authority came to know it when the two students went to attend class. The college authority lodged an FIR in that connection, leading to the arrest of Vivek on Sunday.
